In 2025 I will reunite myself with photography. I was on a huge kick in 2023 while I was in grad school. I was getting into shows, making work I was extremely proud of, and truly curating my style. I barely took any photos in 2024, and I refuse to go another year of feeling the same disappointment in December because I didn't work. My idea for this blog is to keep myself consistent, so each month, I will make a blog. And in that blog, I will journal my work.

Here are the first 3 days of the year. I bought a house at the beginning of last year and I think that is a big part of what stunted my work. I was in a rut and feeling quite depressed as it was a tough move since my house was a major fixer-upper. As the months went by, my house became more and more a home which is amazing! Today was the first snow of 2025 and it was beautiful to sit by my window and watch the pearly white snow blow on the pine tree outside my window (bonus points because it has mini pinecones). I've been sanding my stairs which has been exhausting, but exciting because that's pretty much the last big project I have for the house.

Lastly, my cat Mak. I was sad when she was little because was hard to photograph since she was so tiny and moved so fast. As she has gotten older though, she has a few moments where I can catch her beautiful hazel eyes, and that brings me joy. She's a beautiful, evil, energetic kitten.
